Subjectarea

Replacement of traditional protein resources by novel alternative sources in fish feed, with especial emphasis on; (i) metabolomics profiling of new potential protein sources in fish feed, such as marine macroalgae; (ii) evaluation of dietary insects as feed ingredients on growth, nutrient utilization, lipid metabolism and fish health; (iii) functional role of insects meal in aquafeed; (iv) evaluation of dietary non-essential amino acid (deficient in the novel protein resources) on energy metabolism in recirculation aquaculture systems (RAS).
