My field is zooplankton ecology with focus on population dynamics, including effects from physical and chemical conditions, phytoplankton and predators like macrozooplankton and fish on the mesozooplankton.
Mainly field-based work including cruise-activities, but previously involved in experimental studies.
Responsible for IMR's monitoring of plankton in the Barents Sea since 2016. Previously worked on topics in the Norwegian Sea, and participated in cruises in tropical areas (off Africa, Myanmar, Indian Ocean) as part of the EAF Nansen programme.
