I work as a researcher in the Demersal Fish research group, with a focus on monitoring and assessment of demersal fish stocks in the Barents Sea. My work includes coordinating and leading scientific surveys, participating in ICES working groups, and developing and participating in research projects. I am particularly interested in how predator-prey interactions drive population and ecosystem dynamics. In my PhD I used theoretical and statistical models to study the predator-prey interaction between cod and capelin, two commerically and ecologically important species in the Barents Sea.
